NC teen: Nose ring more than fashion, it's faith

In my opinion i think that it is unfair that a teenager has to be suspended for not wanting to take of her nose piercing and because she went back to school with her mom to have a talk with the principle about the piecing incident and once again she got suspended for 5 more days. I also disagree with the school rule about the piercings because i myself have a piercing in my upper lip and if my school would of had the same school rule i would of done the same thing as Adriana did because people have the right to do what they want with there face and also there body. For example, Adriana and her mother belong to The Church of Body Modification and there religion express there faith with piecing and tattoos and basically the school is denying her right to exercise her freedom of religion. The school policy has to respect Adrianas's decision of keeping her nose ring because making her take it of will be violating her religion
